It is only through collaboration that we can achieve our ambitions. If we are to meet the challenges we face, we must work together. No one has all the answers. We select the external asset managers with whom we work on the basis of their investment philosophy and process, as well as their level of integration of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors. In order to properly assess these factors and the future capabilities of the external asset manager, ABN AMRO Investment Solutions has developed its own methodology for evaluating delegated asset management. Depending on the capabilities of our asset managers, we will work with them to (further) develop their ESG analysis skills and/or better integrate ESG criteria into their investment approach.
